Through its “Action Through Arts” campaign Artists United for Haiti Inc. (aka AUH, AU4Haiti) strives to develop projects that are educational, inspirational, purposeful, and commercially viable, to empower Haitians in ways that matter. Through its projects, AUH will bring together a network of artists and businesses from the Haitian community and beyond to work collaboratively on an ongoing basis on diverse projects. AUH combines historical references, including Haiti’s own historical past with deeds from contemporary Haitian heroes through various artistic media (Film, music, dance, paintings, psychodrama, poetry and a book) as a vehicle to foster leadership in the Haitian community. damsi@aol.com
