The Association de Généalogie d'Haiti is a non-profit organization which operates with the membership fees of its members and which main objective is to collect electronically the old civil registers of the Archives Nationales d'Haiti to preserve them for future generations. These data are displayed on its Web site by means of a database called ARCHIVES NATIONALES D'HAITI

The Association has also undertaken the creation of a collective genealogy of Haitian families by receiving from interested persons their genealogical data and integrating them in a second database called COLLECTIVE GENEALOGY OF HAITIAN FAMILIES
