ActionAid works on the ground and in the halls of power to end poverty. We work in 49 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America, with over 25 million poor people. Our work seeks to create and sustain better futures by providing relief from disasters and conflicts, empowering women, fighting hunger, holding governments accountable, fighting HIV & AIDS, and making education accessible.
Promote sustainable development of Ouanaminthe through education-education. This should involve social justice and promoting human dignity. To get there, our job would be to work towards better conditions for both economic and social life of people.

Constructive Dialogue was founded with the premise that Haitians, especially those who live overseas can participate in the development of their country at different levels. The organization is a catalyst for change and offers every Haitian a chance to contribute through services, financial contribution, and volunteering.
Our mission is to serve as a development network for non governmental organizations, working to develop and promote durable solutions to the current issues faced by the Republic of Haiti by supporting the capacity of government and civil society to establish sustainable interventions.
Haiti Support Group has been to amplify the voices of civil society organisations (CSOs) demonstrating an alternative vision of development in Haiti. Such CSOs are often ignored in official decision-making processes leading to policies with dire consequences for the Haitian poor.
Secondly, we carry the views of Haitian CSOs to decision-makers in local and foreign governments, NGOs, IGOs, the media and the public. We aim to ensure that the experience of Haiti's poor are heard in the corridors of power and among those who can influence them as activists, voters and reporters.
Thirdly, we build links between CSOs in Haiti and their equivalents in the developed world. To that end, we work with trade unions, church groups, women's organisations, and many others. In this way we help build a public lobby for a pro-poor development vision based on the experience of our Haitian CSO contacts.
The MISSION of the Haitian American Professionals Coalition (HAPC) is to mobilize and link professionals of diverse occupations in order to effectively address issues relevant to the community and to provide opportunities for growth and development.
Adult literacy computer training citizenship/assistance. Town hall meeting. Translation of documents Rally and March in support of immigrant rights and advocacy. Future Projects: Adult and youth programming around literacy leadership development
The mission of the Haitian League is to establish a network to empower the Haitian Diaspora to adapt to the fabrique of their adopted countries, achieve economic self-reliance, civil rights, health parity, and civic responsibilities, while supporting Haiti to outgrow its underdevelopment.
The Haitian Studies Association (HSA) is a tax-exempt educational organization that promotes research on Haiti and Haitians, identifies and disseminates information on Haiti, and has an international network of competent experts to address Haitian issues, both from disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. HSA serves as a resource for various institutions and policymakers in and out of Haiti, and encourages discussion and debate on all aspects of Haitian society in Haiti and in the diaspora. HSA seeks to foster linkages and working relationships with educational, research, and civic institutions in Haiti.

The Sustainable Haiti Coalition is a vehicle for promoting a suite of multi-sector and multi-disciplinary sustainable solutions for the long term, resilient future of Haiti. The domains of attention for the Coalition include:
Building a network of Sustainable Business Incubators to support the following sectors: housing, agriculture, industry and tourism, higher education; Capacity Building and Leadership Effectiveness on behalf of the professionalizing of the business, health care, public service and social services sectors; Cross-sector Communication and Coordination and mapping of real time intelligence to support private investment and public-private partnerships to streamline project implementation in crucial services and infra-structure. The Coalition has a participatory design that will provide resources through public-private partnerships and structural mechanisms needed to engage Haiti’s challenges and opportunities, and address these in sustainable ways. By inviting individuals and organizations to join our Founders’ Circle, our Leadership Council, populate committees or serve on one of our advisory groups, we are creating opportunities for members to make meaningful investments in Haiti’s long term future.
