Haitian Lawyers Association (HLA) is a voluntary bar association established in Miami in 1997. For over a decade, our mission has been to promote the general welfare of the community, to promote diversity in the legal profession, and to promote a greater awareness of the legal and political rights of the Haitian-American Community.

The Haitian American Law Enforcement Fraternal Organization (HALEFO) is an organization comprised of law enforcement personnel of Haitian origin serving throughout the United States. Our membership includes: Police Officers, Court Officers, Immigration Officers, State Troopers, Parole Officers, Correction Officers, etc.

Our Mission is to develop a network of Haitian American Law Enforcement personnel and to use our expertise to respond to community need when appropriate.
